About Rachel

Hailing from Cork in Ireland, Rachel is passionate about nature and rural life. She trained at Central Saint Martins and Ravensbourne University in London as an industrial designer, worked as a design consultant throughout the 1990s. By the late 1990s, Rachel trained as a secondary school teacher and moved to a quiet coastal form in East Anglia, where she currently works as a Silversmith, designer and mother. Rachel is embraced by a spiritual connection with all that nature offers. Feeding off the energy of nature, the sea, animals, wildlife and edible plants are what feeds Rachel‘s visual inspiration for craftsmanship and design.
